UGCLive terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and UGCLive for using the UGCLive iPhone app and ugc.live. By using them you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use UGCLive.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree for you.
  • Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Tell us at support@ugc.live if you think someone else has used your account.

Plans and subscriptions

  • Starter is free. Pro and Studio are paid subscriptions, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown in the app before you buy.
  • Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID.
  • They renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Cancel any time in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • If we change a price, it applies from your next renewal, and Apple will tell you before an increase takes effect.
  • We may change what each plan includes. If a change takes away something you've paid for, it won't apply until your next renewal.

The referral program

  • Every account gets an invite link and code. A new user who signs up with it can claim 50% off the first 3 months of Pro through an App Store offer code. They must claim it within 14 days of signing up and before paying for a plan. Each person can be referred once.
  • You earn 20% of the subscription payments made by people you refer, net of Apple's commission and taxes, for as long as they keep paying.
  • Earnings are held for 30 days before they can be paid out. Refunded or reversed payments are taken back out of your earnings.
  • Payouts are made through Stripe once your cleared balance reaches $25. You must set up a Stripe account and give Stripe the details it asks for. Stripe's own terms apply to it.
  • You're responsible for any taxes on your earnings.
  • No referring yourself or your own other accounts, no spam, no misleading claims about UGCLive, and no paid ads that bid on the UGCLive name. We may withhold earnings that come from breaking these rules, and remove you from the program.
  • We may change or end the program. Earnings you've made before a change will still be paid under the rules that applied when you earned them.

Your content

  • You own the videos, audio, scripts and other content you create with UGCLive.
  • You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to run the features you use, such as rendering, AI edit, captions, voice and posting.
  • You must have the rights to everything you put in a video, including music, footage, logos and the people who appear in it.
  • You're responsible for following advertising rules where you post, including disclosing paid partnerships and sponsored content, and for each platform's own terms.

AI features

  • AI edit, captions, hooks, B-roll and voice are automated and can make mistakes. Review your video before you post it.
  • AI voice is for your own voice only. Don't clone or imitate anyone else's voice, and don't use your clone to mislead people.
  • Hooks are suggestions. Don't publish claims about a product that aren't true.

Acceptable use

Don't use UGCLive to:

  • break the law or anyone else's rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy and publicity rights;
  • make content that is deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative or that endangers children;
  • impersonate others, or post spam;
  • interfere with the service, get around its limits, or access it in ways we don't provide.

Other services

UGCLive works with services we don't control, such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, the App Store and Stripe. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible if they change, refuse or remove a post, or stop working with UGCLive.

The App Store

These terms are between you and UGCLive, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and isn't responsible for any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Where these terms don't cover something, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement applies.

Ending your use

You can stop using UGCLive and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Cancelling or closing an account doesn't refund past payments; Apple handles refunds.

Disclaimers and liability

UGCLive is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that your videos will get any number of views, sales or brand deals. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and tell you in the app or by email before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using UGCLive after that, the new terms apply.
