Short answer
TikTok Creator Marketplace now lives inside TikTok One, where brands hire creators for paid videos posted on the creator's own account.
You can sign up at 18 or older in a country where TikTok One has launched, and you need 1,000 followers or more to join projects, with extra rules set per project. Brands invite you or you apply; TikTok pays a flat fee, a revenue share or both, owed once TikTok One approves the video, through payouts you set up in the app. TikTok lists no fee for creators.
What is TikTok Creator Marketplace?
TikTok's own place where brands find creators and pay them for sponsored videos. The brand writes a brief and a budget, invites creators or takes applications, and the video goes out as a post on the creator's account; TikTok holds the project, reviews the video and pays the creator. It started as a standalone site and now runs inside TikTok One, TikTok's hub for creator marketing.
From a standalone site to TikTok One

Is TikTok Creator Marketplace still a thing?
Yes, under a new roof. The standalone site closed on April 1, 2025, but TikTok's help center now calls the same service the TikTok One Creator Marketplace: you find it in the app by searching "TikTok One", or under Profile, TikTok Studio, Creator Marketplace. The old address, creatormarketplace.tiktok.com, now redirects to TikTok One's pages on ads.tiktok.com.
- Open applicationsBrands post projects in the Explore tab and you apply.
- Direct invitationsA brand picks you and the invite lands in your inbox under Monetization.
- Invite linksA brand or agency sends a link; you join from it.
It's a different thing from UGC work. Here the video goes out on your account, so the brand is paying for your audience as well as the video. For videos a brand posts on its own accounts, with no follower count needed, see our UGC jobs guide.
What are the TikTok Creator Marketplace requirements?
- 18+
- years old to sign up

TikTok asks for
- Yes: An account that meets the Community Guidelines and the Branded Content Policy.
- Yes: A profile with your starting rates, contact details, languages and industries (you add these after registering).
- Yes: Tax details where your country requires them, and a bank account or other payout method.
Limits to know
- Check: A weekly cap on how many open applications you can send. TikTok doesn't publish the number.
- Check: Invite-link projects expire if you don't accept within 7 days.
- Check: Brand rules on top: niche, audience, past content. They vary by project.
TikTok Business Help Center, sign-up, find-and-join and payment set-up articles (July and April 2026).
TikTok's two help centers disagree. The Business Help Center's creator pages (updated July 2026, re-read October 27, 2026) ask for 1,000 followers to join projects. TikTok's general Help Center page on TikTok One still lists 10,000 followers, 1,000 post views and 3 posts in the last 30 days, and says the numbers vary by region. The app settles it: TikTok Studio, Monetization, Creator Marketplace, then Check eligibility.
Which countries is TikTok One Creator Marketplace in?
TikTok doesn't publish one list. Its sign-up rules are the same everywhere (18 or older, 1,000 followers for projects), and the only condition about place is that TikTok One "launched in your country or region". The creator terms say the same thing in legal words: you must live where TikTok offers the program. The nearest thing to a list is the set of markets for Physical Product projects, where brands ship you the item to film.

How does a brand invite turn into a paid job?
A direct invitation, start to finish
- 1. The invite arrivesIn your TikTok inbox, under Monetization.
- 2. Tap I'm interestedYou see the brief and the payment details before you commit.
- 3. Accept or negotiateBase-pay projects say whether the fee is negotiable. Base pay plus revenue share projects aren't.
- 4. Read the briefPayment, the brand's contact and the video requirements all sit on the project's collab page.Collab page
- 5. Record or upload the videoFrom the collab page, in the app.
- 6. Brand and TikTok review itThe advertiser checks the brief; TikTok checks the Community Guidelines and Branded Content Policy. Either can ask for edits, and a new upload is reviewed again. You can appeal a rejection.
- 7. It's publishedApproved videos go out as a post on your account, with analytics under View analytics.
- 8. You're owed the feeBy the creator terms, base pay is owed once TikTok One approves the video; revenue share once it runs as an ad.Approval
Invite links run on a 7-day clock
An invitation that comes as a link expires after 7 days without an answer. Those projects are also priced and paid outside TikTok ("offline payment and pricing"), so agree the fee and payment date with the brand in writing before you film.
How much does TikTok Creator Marketplace pay?
TikTok publishes no rates: you set starting rates on your profile, and each project shows its own payment. What it does publish is the three ways a project can pay.

TikTok Business Help Center: About TikTok One creator payment models (April 2026); TikTok One Creator Program Terms, section 9 (April 2026).
Two terms decide what the fee buys. Payouts are "inclusive of all taxes, including VAT", so price with your tax in mind, and TikTok gets a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to the video for 2 years from the day you submit it. To work out a fee that covers ad use, try our UGC pricing calculator.
How and when do you get paid?
From approval to your bank
- OnceSet up payoutsProfile, Monetization, Creator Marketplace, then Rewards (it may say Payouts): pick your local currency, add tax details where required and a bank account. TikTok reviews them and confirms in your inbox.
- ApprovalThe fee is owedIt shows as pending, then moves to your available balance. TikTok says each product has its own schedule and doesn't give a number of days.
- Any timeWithdrawRewards Center, payout, enter the amount, Withdraw now. Outside Europe and Canada you can request a payout whenever you like, and payouts also run automatically.
- After 90 daysAutomatic transferIf you don't move eligible money yourself within 90 days, the terms let TikTok tell Stripe to transfer it.

TikTok's pages list no minimum withdrawal and no fee taken from creators. A payout can be held if you breach the terms, or delayed or cut if you don't meet Stripe's checks, so finish the identity steps early.

The other difference is who runs the money. On TikTok One, TikTok holds the project and pays you under its terms. On JoinBrands or Insense the platform does the same, with its own cut and payout days. Pitching a brand yourself means invoicing them, which is our guide to getting UGC deals from brands.
How do you get more invites?
- Fill the profileTikTok lets you add starting rates, contact details, languages and industries after you register. Fill all four, so a brand looking in your niche has something to match.
- Post in one nicheA brand deciding on an invite looks at your recent videos. A run of posts on one subject makes the fit easy to see.
- Label paid postsTurn on TikTok's content disclosure setting on every paid post. TikTok reviews each project video against its Branded Content Policy, and a history of unlabelled ads is a risk there.
- Keep a portfolio outside TikTokBrands that find you elsewhere want a link with your best videos and rates. Our portfolio builder builds one.
Small accounts get most of their first deals by asking. Our guide to brand deals for small creators has a rate card and the contract points to settle.
What didn't we check?
Not checked
- Partly: We didn't sign up or take a project, so we have no real invite rates, fees or payout times.
- Partly: TikTok's advertiser payments article showed an error page each time we opened it, so the brand-side payment rules aren't used here.
- Partly: A full country list for the marketplace: TikTok doesn't publish one. The Physical Product list and the South Africa report are the closest.
- Partly: Whether any country sets a higher age: the TikTok One pages we read say 18 everywhere.
- Partly: Advice in "How do you get more invites?" is ours; TikTok doesn't publish how brands rank creators.
