Which idea should you film first?
Pick by the goal, then by what you can film today with what you own. The three goals ask different things of the same video:
| Goal | Ideas | What the video has to do | Formats that do it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grow the account | 15 | Give a stranger a reason to follow: a series, a reply, a routine they'll want again. | Comment reply, series, real time, ranking |
| Sell on TikTok Shop | 15 | Show the product doing its one job, and the price, without a claim you can't film. | Unboxing, demo, honest review, try-on |
| UGC portfolio | 15 | Show a brand what you can make for them, with a product you already own. | Problem and solution, testimonial, hook variations, hands-only B-roll |
Our pick for a new account: the comment reply. It needs no idea of your own, it answers someone who already cares, and the comment sticker tells the viewer in a second what the video is about. TikTok's Creator Academy says to use “your video's description, voiceovers, captions, and on-screen text” to make clear what a video is about so it reaches people searching for it (Getting discovered with Search, read October 14, 2026). A reply does that by design.
Once you have an idea, the hook generator writes more opening lines for it and the UGC script template turns it into a script you can read off the teleprompter.

How to use TikTok ideas generator
- 1
Start with the written list
Filter the ideas by goal (grow, sell on TikTok Shop or UGC portfolio) and by niche, and copy one you can film with what you own.
- 2
Generate ideas for your exact niche
Type a narrow niche such as "budget skincare for oily skin", plus a product if you want it in the videos. Each of the 10 ideas has a format, an opening line and the shots.
- 3
Check the ones marked only if true
Story and result ideas the generator made up for you carry a mark. Film those only if they happened, or change the line to something that did.
FAQTikTok ideas generator FAQ
How do I come up with TikTok video ideas?
Read your comments and write down the questions people ask, then answer one per video in a format that shows the answer: a demo, a side by side, a list or a reply to the comment. The 45 ideas on this page start from that kind of question.
What should a beginner post on TikTok?
Something you can repeat every week, like a numbered series, a routine filmed in real time or replies to comments. Repeating a format means you only have to change the topic, so you can post more often.
Can I use these for a UGC portfolio?
Yes. The UGC portfolio ideas use the formats brands ask creators for, such as problem and solution, testimonials, hands-only unboxings and hook variations, filmed with products you already own.
Do the ideas make claims about my product?
The written ideas leave the product as [product] and never say what it does. The generator is told not to add abilities or people you didn't mention, and it marks story and result ideas as only if true.
Is it free?
Yes, with no sign-up. Each visitor gets 20 free generations a day, shared across the site's AI tools.
What happens to what I type?
It goes through our server and fal.ai (its OpenRouter router) to Anthropic's Claude Haiku, which writes the ideas. UGCLive doesn't store it, and fal's and Anthropic's own terms apply to it. Don't type anything you wouldn't post.
