Short answer
The program starts when UGCLive is on the App Store. Every UGCLive account will have an invite link. A creator who joins with it gets 50% off the first 3 months of Pro, and you earn 20% of every payment they make, after Apple's commission and tax, for as long as they subscribe. Earnings clear after 30 days and are paid out through Stripe from $25.
How much can you earn?
About $3.23 a month for each friend on Pro monthly, if Apple takes 15%. Move the slider to see a whole audience: the calculator multiplies the friends who pay by their plan's price, takes off Apple's commission and applies the 20% share.
- Per friend, per month
- $3.23
- All 10, per month
- $32.30
- First 12 months
- $339.15
10 friends on Pro, monthly pay $190.00 a month; after Apple's 15% that's $161.50, and your 20% is $32.30. Their first 3 months are half price, so those months earn half. Sales tax or VAT also comes off before the split, so treat this as the most you'd earn.
How does the referral program work?
You share a link, your friend saves on Pro, and you earn on every payment they make.
- Copy your link. In the app, open Profile → Invite friends. Your link looks like ugc.live/r/CODE, and the code works on its own too.
- Your friend joins. They open the link (or type the code under Invite friends) within 14 days of signing up and before they first subscribe. One code per account, and never your own.
- They get the discount. They're handed a one-time App Store offer code for 50% off the first 3 months of Pro.
- You earn on every payment. Each payment they make adds 20% of it, after Apple's commission and tax, to your earnings. A refund takes its share back.
- Withdraw. Earnings become available 30 days after each payment, so refunds can settle. From $25 you withdraw to your bank through a Stripe Express account.
When does it start?
When UGCLive is on the App Store. The program is built into the app, so links and earnings start with the launch. Subscriptions are billed by Apple, which is why its commission comes off before the split; the plans are on the pricing page.
