What does Meta say about Feed, Reels and timing?
- Meta's Feed system card (updated October 6, 2026) says Feed is built from posts "shared by friends, Pages you follow and groups you've joined", and lists "The current time" among its signals. People can also switch to a reverse-chronological Following view.
- The Reels system card (updated June 19, 2026) describes Reels as "content you may be interested in from creators you may not follow". So follower active times matter most for Page feed posts; a Reel's audience is mostly people who don't follow you.

How do you schedule Facebook posts for your audience's active times?
- From your Page, open Meta Business Suite and Create post. Next to Scheduling options, turn on Set date and time, then click Active times "to see recommended publication times" (Meta Business Help).
- Business Suite schedules in "your current time zone", between 20 minutes and 29 days ahead. If your audience lives elsewhere, convert their peak with the tool above first.
- Posting from the Facebook app on a Page or a profile in professional mode, the recommended times (based on "when your followers are most active on Facebook") come with Meta One Advanced, Expert or Max plans (Meta Help).
