How much does each CapCut plan cost?

CapCut sells different plans in different places. capcut.com lists Free, Pro, Ultra and Teams; the iPhone App Store lists Standard and Pro subscriptions. The pricing page says its prices are “for reference only” and that the final price, tax and offers show after you sign in.

The US App Store also lists three items without a plan name: a “Monthly Subscription” at $7.99, another at $19.99, and a “Yearly Subscription” at $89.99. The $7.99 one is the cheapest paid item CapCut sells on iPhone, but nothing on CapCut's pages says which plan it buys; Apple's purchase sheet shows the plan name before you confirm, so check it there. Every other storefront we read has unnamed monthly items too. We couldn't read Google Play's prices, so Android isn't in the table.

How much is CapCut Pro in other countries?

App Store prices are set per country, in local currency with tax included. These are CapCut's monthly subscriptions in seven storefronts, read on the same day. The yearly column shows each store's yearly item under the name the store gives it.

Is CapCut Pro cheaper monthly or yearly?

Yearly is cheaper only if you keep Pro long enough. Pick a plan and how many months you expect to need it; the result uses the prices in the tables above.

What can you do on CapCut for free?

The free plan covers most basic editing. What it leaves out matters for UGC: auto captions are listed as a Pro feature, and there's no cloud storage.

• Most exports have no watermark. One can appear when a template includes an ending clip, a stock asset needs attribution, or the export adds the default outro; remove those before exporting.

If you want auto captions without paying, Edits by Instagram includes them for free (see the comparison table on the alternatives page), or type them in CapCut yourself. To check that captions and text clear TikTok's buttons, use the safe zone checker.

What changed in CapCut's pricing in 2025 and 2026?

Newsweek reported that older yearly plans could renew at the new price from February 20, 2026. If you're on a yearly plan, check the renewal price in your subscription settings before the date.

How do you cancel a CapCut subscription?

Cancel on the platform you paid on. Deleting the app doesn't cancel anything. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, or the next period is charged. CapCut says subscriptions are virtual goods and generally aren't refunded, with an appeal for cases like double billing.

  1. Open the Settings app and tap your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap CapCut, then Cancel Subscription.

  If you don't see CapCut, you may have subscribed with another Apple ID or on another platform.

  1. Open the Google Play Store and go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Tap CapCut.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

  Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel the subscription.

• Web and desktop

  1. Sign in at capcut.com (or in the desktop app) with the account you paid with.
  2. Open your subscription page from your account.
  3. Cancel the plan there, at least a day before it renews.

  CapCut's help pages say to cancel from the subscription page on the platform you subscribed on, but don't name the menus.

On the App Store and Google Play, a cancelled plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. App Store refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Is there a cheaper way to get what CapCut Pro does?

For auto captions, yes: VN's on-device captions are free with no watermark, and Edits by Instagram includes captions for free. For silence and filler cutting on the phone, InShot Pro is $19.99 a year in the US. None of them has CapCut's templates or its web and Windows editors, so if you build videos from templates, Standard at $9.99 a month is the cheapest way to stay.
