How much is Submagic?

Submagic counts videos, not minutes: three credits make one video, and each plan caps how long that video can be. Every paid plan exports with no watermark, and prices are per member.

Which Submagic plan cuts silences and bad takes?

Pro and Business. The plan cards and the comparison table on the pricing page agree on this: Starter's card lists captions, free B-roll and text-based trimming, and its table column shows a dash for every cutting and audio tool Submagic. If cutting your pauses is the reason you're looking, budget for Pro.

What does one Submagic video cost?

Price per video if you use the whole monthly allowance (our arithmetic on Submagic's prices)
PlanVideos a monthLongest videoPer video, monthly billingPer video, yearly billing
Starter152 min$1.27$0.80
Pro405 min$0.97$0.57
Business10030 min$0.69$0.41

Videos you don't make in a month don't carry over, so divide the price by the videos you actually post. Three ads a week is about 13 a month: that fits Starter, at $0.92 a video billed yearly, but only if you cut the pauses yourself. With silence cutting, the same 13 videos on Pro cost $1.77 each billed yearly. A take longer than 2 minutes needs Pro whatever you post, and one over 5 minutes needs Business ($69 a month).

Paying monthly for 12 months

Paying yearly (1 year)

Yearly works out to
$12.00/mo

Yearly is $84.00 cheaper over 12 months. A year up front costs the same as about 8 months of monthly billing, so yearly only pays off if you keep it at least that long.

Where do Submagic's own pages disagree?

On custom templates. The Business card promises 10 custom templates, while the comparison table on the same page shows none on Starter, 3 on Pro and 5 on Business Submagic. Long videos are a separate purchase too: the Magic Clips add-on, for turning long videos into clips, is $19 a month for 10 uploads on top of a plan Submagic help. If clipping long videos is the main job, the dedicated tools are priced side by side on our clipping-tool comparison.

Submagic help: How do I cancel my plan?

Monthly and yearly fees aren't refundable, apart from a 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers unless the service was already fully used with their consent. Submagic terms The free trial lets you upload 3 short videos, but downloading them without a watermark needs a plan Submagic help.

Can you use Submagic from an iPhone?

Only through the phone's browser. Submagic's own app page says it runs in the browser only, with no desktop or mobile app Submagic, so each take goes from the camera roll to a website and back. Phone apps that cut pauses inside the app instead: Captions, whose AI Trim removes pauses and “uhms” Captions help, and InShot, whose AI Cut removes silences and filler words App Store. Neither has Submagic's Storyblocks B-roll. The Captions app plans and limits page covers Captions' plans and watermark rule.

What did we not test?

The captions themselves. We didn't upload a clip, so this page says nothing about caption accuracy, how well silence removal cuts, or how long renders take. Everything above is from Submagic's pricing page, help center and terms.
