Short answer
Kora is a web dashboard for UGC creators: analytics, deal tracking, contract review, invoices and a job board where brands post briefs and message the creators they pick. It's free with 3 job applications a day, or $29 a month for Creator Pro. Pay is whatever you agree with the brand. Deals paid through Kora are funded up front and paid to your Stripe account, with a 1.5% fee charged to the brand; deals paid elsewhere are between you and the brand.
What does Kora cost, and what do you get?

| How work is offered | Job board: brands post briefs, you apply with a sample video, brands message who they pick |
| Pay, as the platform states it | Agreed with each brand; Kora publishes no rates |
| How you're paid | Stripe Express for deals paid through Kora; off-platform deals are between you and the brand |

| Who can join | Not stated; 18+ |
| Follower minimum | None ("not your follower count") |

Is Kora a marketplace or a creator tool?
Both, and the tool came first. Kora calls itself "the dashboard for UGC creators": analytics across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, deal tracking, AI contract review, an invoice generator, and a job board (Kora). On the board, brands post briefs, creators apply with a sample video, and brands accept who they want and message them directly (Kora for brands).
Its home page FAQ says you don't need a big following: brands care about "your content and whether you fit the campaign, not your follower count." You must be 18 or older to hold an account or receive payouts; no country list is given. Kora names no company on its site. Its footer says it's made in California, and its terms are governed by California law.
What does Kora cost, and who pays the 1.5%?
| Item | What Kora says |
|---|---|
| Free plan | 3 job applications a day |
| Creator Pro | $29 a month through Stripe (terms), with weekly pitch credits that expire unused each week; fees and credits non-refundable |
| Creator commission | None: "Kora takes no cut of your pay" |
| Brand fee | 1.5% of cash and sales-based pay and 1.25% of ad-spend shares, only on deals Kora pays out |
| Pricing page | Returned a 404; the Pro price is in the terms |
The fee story is clearer than it was. Kora's home page and brand page now say the brand covers a small platform fee on Kora-paid deals and that Kora takes nothing when brands pay creators themselves, which matches the terms (updated October 12, 2026). One line on the home page still says Kora "never takes a commission from your pay", which is true for creators.
What changes when a brand pays you through Kora?
- Paid through Kora: the brand funds a Stripe wallet before work starts, and you're paid out to Stripe Express. Kora is the payment rail.
- Paid elsewhere: Kora is "not a party to the contract". Price, deliverables, usage and payment are between you and the brand, so get them in writing; Kora's contract review can read the brand's contract, and the contract template covers the clauses.
- Rights: you keep ownership. Applying or submitting extends Kora's license to the brand; once a brand approves a video it may run it as a paid ad on Meta and Snap and download the file, and Instagram partnership ads run from your handle until you revoke permission in Instagram.
When you apply, brands see your display name, photo, badges, location, age band, categories, reach, best content, sample video and note, and whether you've sold their products on TikTok Shop. Once accepted they also see your phone, email, handles and shipping address. A brand never sees what other brands paid you (privacy policy).
We found no public ratings: Kora has no Trustpilot page and no app listing, and a search for creator reviews turned up nothing. Its creator counts differ from page to page, so we don't quote one.
Who gets the most out of Kora?
Creators who already find some work on their own and want one place to track deals, send invoices and pick up extra briefs. As a marketplace it's lighter than the others here, so insist on Kora-paid deals with brands you don't know.
In its favour
- Free to start, with tools (invoices, deal tracking, contract review) on top of the job board.
- You're judged on a sample video, not followers.
- No creator commission; the platform fee is the brand's.
- Brands fund a wallet before work starts on Kora-paid deals.
Against it
- No company named on the site, and no public ratings.
- Only 3 applications a day free; Pro credits expire weekly and aren't refunded.
- Off-platform deals get no protection from Kora.
- No published rates or country list.
Marketplaces with more protection built in
- JoinBrands review: published rates per job and escrow on every job.
- Insense review: you set your price, with payment held when you're hired.
- Sideshift review: a written payment guarantee on campaigns run through the platform.
What we couldn't see from outside
- How many jobs are on the board, and what they pay.
- Which countries Kora accepts creators from.
- What happens when a brand disputes a delivery on a Kora-paid deal: ask before you take one.
